For this collection we had the opportunity of collaborating with 3 women owned brands. Not only are these brands women owned, they’re also fully sustainable.
Fatra is a brand located in NYC that focuses on upcycling plastic bottles to create luxury bags. The founder of the brand is a designer that conducts free mending courses and gives back to black and brown communities in NYC.
Alterre is a sustainable brand that supplied the shoes for our look book. They donate 5% of their profit to Restore NYC, which is a non-profit that provides long-term rehabilitation for victims of sex trafficking. Both founders are active in supporting female empowerment within the community and believe you can do good while feeling good.
Amanda Hunt allowed us to use their jewelry for our collection shoot. Each piece of their jewelry is hand made in California by a small team using 100% recycled content in their metals.
